Will Screen-Spy Work With My Software?
Screen-Spy records screenshots of your computer's activity. It completely records 100% of all programs. Screen-Spy works with all versions of all popular internet software, including AOL, AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger, Yahoo Instant Messenger, Internet Explorer, Netscape, Opera, Outlook, Outlook Express and thousands of others.
Does Screen-Spy come with a CD-ROM?
All orders include instant download. A CD-ROM can also be purchased for an additional $9.90 which includes free shipping. To order the CD simply select "Order this product on CD" from the order page. You will still receive the instant download via email immediately after ordering.
Is your ordering Secure?
Absolutely. All product order pages on our site are processed by Plimus and 100% secured by Thawte, a leader in web site security. A clickable Thawte logo allows you to verify this for yourself on each order page. We never sell or share ANY of your information. Your information is kept strictly confidential.
Can I order by Phone?
Yes. To order Screen-Spy by toll-free phone, simply go to the order page. Fill out the customer information so it will be in our system when you call. At the bottom of the customer information page there will be a field called "Payment Type:". In this field, select "Phone" and then click "Next". You will then be taken to a page that gives you a reference number and a toll-free phone number. Call the number and give the operator your reference number. They will then take your billing information by phone. An email will then instantly be sent to you with the download instructions.
Can I order by Mail?
Yes. To order Screen-Spy by mailing in the payment, first go to the order page. Fill out the customer information so it will be in the system and we can prepare the order. At the bottom of the customer information page there will be a field called "Payment Type:". In this field, select "Mail" and then click "Next". You will then be taken to a page that gives you a form to print. Write your billing information on the form and send to the address on the form, along with a check or money order for the total amount due. Once the payment has been received, an email will be sent to you within 24 hours with your download instructions. Checks must first clear before an email is sent, so it is recommended that you send a Money Order.
Can I Order by FAX?
Yes. To order Screen-Spy by FAX, first go to the order page. Fill out the customer information so it will be in our system. At the bottom of the customer information page there will be a field called "Payment Type:". In this field, select "FAX" and then click "Next". You will then be taken to a page that gives you a form to print and the fax number. Write the billing information on the form and fax it to the number on the form. Once the form has been received, an email will be sent to you within 24 hours with your download instructions.
How do I install Screen-Spy?
Upon ordering you will receive an email with your download URL. Your URL will expire in three days from the date of ordering. You simply download and run an executable file. After that, use the instructions in the email to setup the program and start monitoring within five minutes!
If the Screen-Spy software is hidden, then how will I access it?
Upon ordering you will receive an email with a temporary hot key combination. You simply press a certain group of keys all at once and a password box will appear. After that, type in the default password (also included in the email) and you're in. After installation you will want to customize your hot key combination and change your password to ensure added stealth.
Does Retina-X Studios, LLC provide installation and usage support?
When you order Screen-Spy or any other RXS product, there will be step-by-step instructions. However, if you need further assistance we will be here to answer any questions you may have. In addition to our useful online documentation, we also send step-by-step install instructions via email upon ordering.
Do you offer volume discounts or discounts to educational institutions and students?
Yes, we offer both. If you are looking to put Screen-Spy on more than three computers, or are a student over 18 years of age, or are from an educational institution then contact us for current discounts. Retina-X Studios also offers network monitoring software at greatly reduced rates.
Are you accepting new affiliates to sell Screen-Spy?

Product Support Questions
How do I install Screen-Spy?
Upon ordering you will receive an email with your custom download url. Your url will expire in three days from the date of ordering. After your download you simply run an executable file. After that, use the instructions given in the email to setup the program and start monitoring within five minutes!
How do I start and stop recording?
To start or stop recording, press the "Start" or "Stop" button located next to the "Hide" button. If the "Stop" button is showing, then that means you are recording screenshots. If the "Start" button is showing, then that means you are NOT recording screenshots.
How does the Hide button work?
You should always click the "Hide" button rather than the "X" button if you want to go back into stealth mode after viewing results. Anytime you are within the interface and you click the "X" button, then the software is completely exited until the next time you restart your computer.
How do I view the recorded activity?
This is done inside the interface. To access the interface, use the hot key combination in the email sent to you after ordering. After entering your password you will be able to view the recorded activity with easy VCR-like controls and playback.
How do I make the screenshots fit my screen?
To make the screenshots fit onto your screen, simply change your display resolution to a higher resolution. For example, if your screenshots are recorded at 800x600, then temporarily change your resolution to 1024x768. This will make the screenshots fit onto your screen so you don't have to scroll. To set your resolution, right click your desktop, click "Properties" and then "Settings" to make the adjustment.
How fast can I set the capture interval?
The recommended setting is every sixty seconds. However you can change this setting in Options > Capture. If you choose to capture more frequently, it will take more of your computer's resources. So you might want to consider a lesser quality image to help make up for lost processing power. This is done using the "JPG Save Option".
How do I change my hot key combination?
To change the hot key combination, go to Options and then click the "Security" tab. Then select your desired sequence and click "Apply".
How do I change my password?
To change the password inside the program go to Options and then click the "Security" tab. Then enter your old password and new password in both boxes and click "OK".
How do I uninstall Screen-Spy?
This information is available within the order email. If you have misplaced that email please fill out a support request and request Screen-Spy uninstall information.
